Talk about an early start ... because it was! It's been a while since I had a pre-6 am start and I don't think I have missed them. The mission: go to the laundromat with the washing. I made it there in good time in that there were still multiload machines available - even though one was non-operational (COIN SLOT JAMMED). The two loads I had ended up taking only half-an-hour - just enough time for a coffee and to check the mail. Then it was back to Latimers to hang out the washing with S before driving up the Motorway to have breakfast with J. It's been a while and it was great to catch up with her!
Then it was back down the Motorway to pick up S for a run over to Robina before coming back to Latimers for a rest before going in to Mouse's for Family & Friends Dinner ... Cabbage Rolls and a Mi Bread and Butter pudding; the cooks really had excelled and outdone themselves. I think D enjoyed it - he seemed to although it wasn't the usual Borscht and Vereneke he's there for! He has been staying with Mouse the last few days and it seems to be very good for the both of them. Soxie seems to be okay too which is good given he had to stay outside while the family was staying with Mouse.
And the great news is that there are leftovers!
