M was up and out early to Deep Water Running and although she says she made a racket and a clatter, it wasn't enough to wake S up so she would go with her ... but we did meet her and Mouse for breakfast at Caffe Republic afterwards. There is no doubt that S's memory is amazing! She had remembered we had been to a different Caffe Republic some time ago - and she could tell this from the colour of the walls and the Star insignia.
There is another coffee shop that M wants to try - Cafe Alfinso - but that that was full up this morning so it will need to be another day - one where we remember to book in advance - and have teed it up with Sy and An because they want to go as well.
After breakfast, we were off to see Iron Man 3 and despite less than glowing reviews from Fl and D last night, all four of us who went to see it today enjoyed it very much ... possibly because, as well as liberal doses of action, there was also a story and some humour ... and the good guys winning is always a bonus!
