Bingo! ... although not for Sooz because she is out working again this week. Our players did have some success though - a full house, and a line, and neither M nor An had to share their wins.
Based on that, no just kidding, I think it may have more to do with M is going to Sydney with Mouse on the weekend, M did manage to jump on ROM and go round the yard again ... oh wait, it may have something to do with the recent snake sightings ... because there was one again today! While M was mowing Hermes' yard she spotted a somewhat larger python than Monday's BBQ version (I don't think the thought was entertained for a moment that it might have been the same one which has grown a bit after it left) - and when she went back to look after the mowing was done, it was still there. When I arrived home, she took me up to see it and rather than jumping up on the fence and looking over, I went through the fence and looked through the wire fence at it ... it was awake - which it hadn't been when M saw it the first time ... but not looking as though it was moving anywhere in a hurry ... obviously what I was hoping since I was down on the ground with it!
Quite unexpectedly, especially after winning the meat tray the other night at Trivia, we had Chinese for dinner tonight ... when I rang and asked Sooz if she wanted me to bring anything ome for Dinner, she said "Combination Soup". She was worn out from her day at work but she did get to hear Christmas carolling as the facility residents were having a Christmas Concert. She didn't do well with lunch though ... the cafe on site (which she now knows also prepares lunches for the residents) was "busy" but she was able to buy some sandwiches from their fridge - including a tuna and cheese one (who would ever have thought to put those flavours together? But I suppose they are two of the main ingredients in tuna bake. But at least M had left her with an apple - and they had had breakfast before M dropped her off.
