We could have gone to dinner at Mouse's with David and his family but I truly just didn't have it in me this evening. Luckily there were Mouse leftovers from last night for our dinner otherwise it would have been a much harder decision to make. M went in though ... good daughter that she is!

It was another busy day at work, catching up with more Site Diaries ... but they do make the day seem as though it is going incredibly quickly even though it was Tuckshop Friday! My special treat today - chicken sandwiches ... just what I felt like. When Le and AC went out to get the lunches, they snuck an afternoon tea surprise back in to the office - Paddle Pops all round - choice of Caramel or Rainbow - hmmm - who ever thought Rainbow would be a flavour? It must be years since I had a Paddle Pop - in my senior years I have preferred Calippos - especially when driving on hot days because they don't have the capacity to drip down your shirt like an ice confection on a stick.
After Maggie's late night out last night, she was the first one in this evening. She came in well before 8:30 and settled herself on the kitchen table - sprawling over as much of it as she was able - and making sure part of her was resting on the Lazy Susan. She seems to love it!
Sooz went into Pacific Fair with M so she could do present buying for Lo's birthday tomorrow ... she had a list of anime DVDs that Lo had given her and was able to find the #1 item on the list. Thank you JB HiFi (even if we don't get a staff discount there!).
By the time I arrived home, the craters were gone - filled and smoothed and okay to drive on. It is a lovely trip down the lane now ... and quite different since the speed bump outside L's seems to have been lost in the roadworks.
