S went off to Volunteer at the Play Group again today and she stayed on to do a training session as well. It must have been a bit different for her to take lunch with her this morning - and very different for Pearl not getting to share it with her! The training session was on car restraints and S was amazed by what she learnt, including that the visibility behind a standard family sedan is so poor that you can hide a class of 30 kids behind one!
Maggie was still very much in bed when we left this morning, not asleep though because I was in with her just before and she was awake and happy to be having a big tummy rub. S said she (Maggie) slept on my legs all last night (or was that the night before?).
Dolly is back from being broken in and is doing her best to avoid Ca when she comes to the fence. We stopped by her paddock on the way to the Markets yesterday and she turned around to say hello and S got out of the car to give her a big pat. She didn't run away and we would all still be there probably if we hadn't had to go.
Trivia was good. St was back tonight and with his help, and the rest of our efforts, we were able to back up our win last week with a respectable (by one point) Second tonight. I know ... we could go over where we lost points but let's not (although really we could have managed just two more points if we had interrogated our answers a tad more closely!). But not to be - but at least we have another entry in the big draw, and another $ 30 voucher ($80 in the kitty now).
