S is still in Kyogle. M went off to JP(she's filling in for a mate who's been off for the last few weeks having an operation). That left the furries and me at home.
Before she left, M gave Pearl a bath, which meant she had to stay outside until she was mostly dry - no easy feat given how thick her coat is. I sat out with her so she wasn't too lonely. Tinka sat out with us as well. Maggie stayed in bed.
Tinka went to The Tevs again this afternoon. She wasn't due until next week but M has been concerned that she has been drinking way too much water and had it brought forward to this week. Tinka's blood sugar levels are still higher than they'd like and her insulin dosage has been increased again ... and who would have thought that Tinka, who we all give "special cookies" numerous times a day, has actually lost weight!!! M's taking her back next week to see if the increased insulin has helped.
M and I went off to The Big House tonight. It was a bit quiet ... which could have been because there was something on at The Entertainment Centre which the Jupiters Concierge suggested was the Echnida Conference - some kind of handicraft event. It seemed awfully big - as evidenced by the buses pulling into the Entertainment Centre and parked on the surrounding streets.
A box opened at the CSP table when we arrived and M had a quick play and managed to get most of her money back. Then we were off to dinner at Spinners where they have stopped the Balmain Bug Special (so I can't really call it The Bug House anymore) and started doing the T-Bone Special. It wasn't bad either ... at first I thought there was too much to get through, but not so much. M and I had coffee upstairs and watched one man as he played Roulette ... and there weren't that many people up there either when we arrived ... that may have had something to do with tonight being the second First Night of the new Cabaret show.
