It's Valentine's Day tomorrow so on the way home I stopped in at the supermarket and picked Pearl up a present - a marrow bone. It's almost as big as her so hopefully she will have a good time with it.
While we were watching television tonight I saw lights on the side fence but didn't think anything of it until a short while later when I saw tail-lights in the backyard. It was, as M pointed out, because she had already mentioned it ... Nick coming to collect the trailer.
Tink brought herself in this evening. I had called her - but it was still a bit early so it wasn't a totally serious call - but when I came back out, there she was - sitting on Beazley's cookie table (where we put the cookies up off the floor so Pearl isn't tempted to do what dogs do - eat cat cookies!)
Pearl and I went for a walk down to B's shed and Dolly came along for most of the way there and back. Tink was sitting in the grass outside their paddock; I couldn't tell if she was hunting something or just having some time away from home.
Sand Sculpture results: The big pirate sitting on the barrel (of rum) was first; Lost in Paradise - with the pirate on one side and the artist as meter maid (complete with very skimpy bikini bottom) before he trimmed down was second; and the iPod-themed piracy in modern times piece placed third.
