M brought the lad home with her this afternoon - I suspect to leave the way clear for Me to finish her packing and re-packing routine. They do have a lot they are taking back - including the Nerf machine gun - and it is going to be astonishing if they can get through without paying excess baggage charges. Me was buying things almost right up to the last minute - making it even more of a challenge to fit everything in.
While we had H, we took a last opportunity to play Nerf ambush. He surprised us by saying he was now "too mature" to play Nerf. My goodness - what has gotten into that boy - who has been filling his head with such rubbish. You are never too old/mature to play! And I told him so. But maybe it was just because the machine gun was already packed and he would have to make do with the revolvers or his stealth pistol. I can't help but wonder if we'll ever pull them out again if he isn't around - trying to work out ways to cover the noise of the very loud motors on them!
I'd like to say that everything went smoothly in getting them to the airport and on to their plane - and while they did leave, there was a brief (actually very long) moment when it seemed that they might be bumped - off the plane rather than upgraded as Mi thought for just a second. But it all turned out and we are now just awaiting word that they have arrived home safely.
