Sunday - Blueberries and Pancakes

Blueberries!

S had decided that pancakes would be fantastic to have with the blueberries Ni had managed to secure and pass on to Fl, to M, to us before she (Ni) went back to France today. And, when S picked up the pancake mix yesterday, I had no idea that she was planning for breakfast to be a bonding exercise - she had decided that We and I should cook them together. It was a great notion, and I managed to successfully pour the water into the bottle, screw the top of the bottle back on, and then shake-shake-shake until the mixture was ready for We to cook. It was a learning exercise as well - Ma had some tips about making sure that all the mixture was used - rather than still being stuck to the bottom of the bottle - and I managed to get all the mixture off the bottom of the second bottle by myself, without Ma's expert intervention.

The blueberries were absolutely amazing ... and, as Ch said, "they're much better than frozen ones". And he is so right!

The Markets looked like fun ... based on the photograph M sent of the group. An wasn't there - her hand is giving her trouble and she's due to see the specialist in the next couple of days.

The Markets

We managed to see Dr and Te again today - but not Ka (he was asleep when they arrived back from Grandma's) nor Mi who was staying over with Grandma.

We made it back to Latimers before nightfall (just) and were able to feed the furries to start making our way back into their good books after our absence.

M was out at "The Lone Ranger" and then having dinner (to break their fast) with the movies crowd, including Fl. When she arrived home she was bearing Crostolis ... Mouse has been cooking again!
