S finally got to the dentist with her tooth abscess and it won't be bothering her any more - the tooth was taken out. It can be quite an emotional experience to have a tooth removed. But, as J said, Imagine if it was another body part! She said uterus or breast while I was thinking arm or leg or perhaps even a nose.
It's only a few days until the 10th Annivesary of 9/11 and when I arrived home S and M were watching a documentary on the attacks. Everyone was in except Beasley - who was apparently "out" because he almost had an accident on S. Poor Beasley!
Luckily the program was in two parts - divided by the news - because I needed to power up the walking machine to get a few more steps in - so I could finish the Global Corporate Challenge with a 10,000+ step day. Yes, 111 days later the GCC is over. But it's okay because work's Foundation Pedometer Challenge started yesterday and runs for the next month. I'm on a new team now - one with seven in it - and hopefully we can do as well as we did in the GCC - we placed third of the 16 teams from our company, and came in at position 7,406 of all 18,153 teams taking part around the world.
