The rain has really stopped and it was a glorious day here on the Gold Coast - nice and sunny. And that means it was finally washing day again ... and we made good use of it - getting two full washing lines out and dry.
Ashley came back this morning to finish the patch-up on the wall (for the line for the bore pump); and to give us a refresher on the workings of the outside sensor lights. They have been perplexing - sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
We met up with Mouse and the others at The Coffee Club for Friday lunch. We wanted to go as Mi has brought her trip to visit her father forward as he is not doing as well as he had been. She leaves tomorrow night, two weeks earlier than they had originally planned, There is much to do before she goes but with M and F's help, she seems to have it under control.

The Eurovision Song Contest starts tonight - well the first Semi-Final that we see here in Australia anyway. S made me watch the Eurovision the first year we were together - and I'm glad she did because since then we have seen some amazing acts ... and I admit I was more than a little surprised when we moved up here to find that M and her family are avid watchers of the Eurovision too! Later: The staging, as always, is incredible - and so varied for each performance. But I suppose they have been producing the Show for a good many years and know what keeps audiences entertained, engaged and voting! I hope I can stay up for Montenegro - the picture of their performance looks incredible. We've gone into lockdown early tonight but the furries don't seem to mind: they're either watching the Eurovision with us or have put themselves to bed already.
On the way home from CSP last night, the moon was stunning. It was only a crescent but it was sitting very low to the horizon - and the Ptolemy effect had it looking quite huge and yellow.
