S and I met Je at Ashmore Plaza (my first time there) to help with her technical problem. It looks like we sorted it out but we won't know for sure until she runs through her presentation and sees if there's a problem. We had coffee at a little cafe there and the waitperson was very engaging ... at first she inadvertently short changed me, then when she delivered S's order she told me mine would be another hour, and then when we were fiddling with the music for Je's presentation and listening to Chariots of Fire, she slow-mo'd over to the table with Je's order. It must be getting harder to get customers if you have to do coffee and a show now ... but we appreciated the effort!
Jungle John came - pruned the Bohemia tree ... and did a much better job than we have been able to (thanks to electric tools and long handles) ... so much so that you can see all the way down the back to the pump house now! It certainly makes Latimers seem just that bit bigger!
D also came but couldn't finish the mowing because the heavens opened and the rain bucketed down at Latimers. It missed Ashmore completely! But he did manage to do some edging and weed control so that's a good thing.
And - what's this, is this the first real sign of Autumn? We know it's starting to get cooler now... Tinka has taken up a spot on Lars' bonnet!
