Some mornings you just need those extra couple of minutes sleep - and even though it hadn't been a late night last night, this morning was one of them.

Tink was with me for at least a part of the night. At one point she was at the foot of the bed between it and the cupboard - a tripping and trampling hazard - but for the rest of the time she was actually on the bed. We both survived the night!

Breakfast this morning was in Ormeau as I waited for my doctor's appointment. Four Beans is under new management - now making their own food so people know what's in it. They are doing a good trade - and they like the range of customers they are attracting. The good news is that they still do a decent cup of coffee there even though the usual barista no longer seems to be with them - or perhaps it was just her day off.

Sushi Train

Pearl had gone off to Nannas by the time I arrived back at Latimers. Mind you, I had a couple of stops along the way including SuperCheap Autos (or something like that) - and they do have some wonderful things in there - and my favourite store ... OfficeWorks. I really should be escorted whenever I'm in there ... if only because my companion could help me carry the purchases. Today they were selling Frixion (erasable) pens for $1.82 - $1.06 cents cheaper than I have ever seen them and half the price you can get them for most other places. I bought a couple (if you call a couple more than10!) - and I will now divert my old ones to Trivia (where I now will not have to worry about nibs being treated less gently than I like).

Sooz and I went off to Sushi Train for lunch - our first time at the one in Nerang - and it was very nice. I love the way the staff are always so excited when you walk in the door!

Then it was off to Bunnings so Sooz could buy some seeds and seed-planting accoutrements while I waited in the car (thankfully we managed a park in the shade) and did some more reading of The Atlantis Gene! I still have a couple of hours to go (Kindle is counting down the time for me).
