Thursday 20 February

Cut her Achilles' tendon with the blade of escape a few years ago. That for me was the caption of the day and I can't help but think there is more that could be done with "The Blade of Escape"'

We had dinner with the Russians and the rest of the "family" tonight at Pomadoro's in the new Isle of Capri complex. It was good although we are still trying to decide if the oven was "wood fired" or gas. The waitress (from Italy) did a great job of serving our very large table and the only thing that would have improved it is if they had served the kids first.

The kids enjoyed the ride in Et's sports car - he took both Kirill and Egor separately so they could have the front seat on the rides. There is no doubt that you can hear him coming - it revs up with a good deep, throaty roar which you can hear long after he is out of sight.

Am had his new car there as well - it has been on order for 18 months and arrived today. Since Am is only on his L's he won't be cruising in it any time soon.

M was going to take Vo to The Big House after dinner but in the end he decided he was too tired. He's running out of opportunities now - they leave on Saturday morning to go back to Russia.

As dinner ended,Mouse stood up to give a thankyou to the group - her Russian family, and her Australian "family". She also did a special thank you to M for her help and time with the Russians while they've been here.

Teeth

Rappers ... or Wrappers.I was telling Sooz about a mate who had gone to Brisbane today to see some Rappers and she looked at me quite strangely ... and then asked "what kind of person would want to go off to see rappers" - but then she realised I meant "rappers" not "wrappers". And now - for your entertainment pleasure ... we bring you the best wrappers in the world. Ah ... Az would have to be on the drawcard for that one ... she is a master wrapper thanks to her time at Daimuru while they still had a store here on the Gold Coast!!!

It's always good to have nice meaty subjects to get your teeth into at work ... but today was not one of those days ... today it was get your (lolly) teeth in and see how big you can smile.
