Sunday

We did make it to the Oracle Markets at Broadbeach today and they were quite different from the Bundall Markets - although one thing was the same - and that was that all of us were there - mostly anyway - M and A couldn't make it but we did have a few ring-ins from Melbourne, friends of N and V. They seemed quite nice - and seemed to cope with all of us quite well.

There was such a buzz around the Markets - but not as much as there usually is - because they were, one of the stall holders told us, about 20 stalls down on their usual number. And it was a lovely day for it - not too hot, and since it was in the shadow of the Oracle, it was incredibly bearable.

Afterwards, we lunched at The Big House where their current special is Pork Loin. S had it and enjoyed it very much - and the chip she had from me seemed to hit the spot as well.

Then it was back to Latimers for some more Easter relaxing. It has been fantastic and while I was disappointed not to catch up with whirlwind-tour L (visiting from the States), I didn't really mind not being on the roads over the break. And it's certainly given us more time to spend with Em - I don't think she's been outside this much for a while.
