Tuesday

Poor Tink! It looks like she's following suit and is about to be diagnosed with Diabetes! M and S have various theories about what might have caused this - but we'll wait and see after Tink has some more tests tomorrow; but the real test will be whether we can keep her confined to (in?) the house until it's time for her to go. Hopefully she will be a little happier about it than she was today; she cried all the way in even though M had covered the cage with a towel!

There is still no sign of The Great K. M is going to contact him to see how things are progressing and check how he's travelling. We really did think we would have seen him again by now! But not so. Ah well, he knows where we are!

Beazley took himself outside early this evening (no doubt thinking he would be the next one bundled into the cat cage for a visit to the vet!) and not even the high wind that came up (thank goodness M had put the net over the trailer load!) could get him inside. We know he was determined to stay out because not even rattling the cat cookie container was luring him in and usually he can hear cookies at a thousand paces. You have to admire Tink's sense of "fairness" though - she came while I was calling Beazley and marched straight over to where he was hiding under the trailer! You could almost her saying "take him ... take him ... back to the vet"!

M spoke with the Russians - who have still not forwarded that all-important invitation. It looks like the production company shoots in both April and June so Mouse and M could will probably go in June - which will take some of the pressure off especially since the planes are chockers (ie very full) and fairly expensive in the next couple of weeks in the lead-up to Anzac Day. If they could travel after that, that would be better.
