Thursday

We had a big day today because M had managed to get us all tickets to the new show at The Big House - Jabberwockeez - Müs.I.C. It turned out to be a combination of dance, music, and light show. The staging was absolutely wonderful and you could see where Jupiters had spent some of the $20 million reported to have been invested in the revamp of their Theatre. They have installed a floating wood floor which is very good for tap dancing and when it comes time to call for an encore by foot-stamping, it will be loud ... very loud. The seats seemed to be a bit of a miss though. I'm no expert at this but they don't appear to have been tiered at the correct intervals/pitch meaning it is easy to have your view blocked by folk in front - especially if they are children on booster seats. The story about the drink holders being placed so they could take out an unsuspecting shin, I will leave for another time.

It was great to have the opportunity to go - even though, and we soon came to understand what it was the person who had said this meant - it was good, but it wasn't for everyone!

The Tian Ran, on the other hand, is for everyone. We went there for dinner before the show and this time we tried the Sweet N Sour Fish. Yum. It was a bit strange though because even though I knew it wasn't fish, I still hesitated because my brain knows I'm not the biggest fish fan! Go figure.
