Wednesday

S is off to Kyogle tomorrow so we went out to dinner tonight at one of her favourite restaurants - the Tian Ran at Mermaid Beach. Just for a change we didn't have the Beef with Cashews tonight - we had Sweet and Sour Pork instead. It was amazing - and still we can't fathom how they make vegetarian fare seem like meat - the right consistency, the right flavour. But it does again raise the question. how do vegetarians produce such dishes? Surely dish creators would need to know what they were replicating?

I cannot believe it is still raining in the afternoons... no ROM for me!
