Ape bit of cage apsing. I wish I knew what that was supposed to mean but it was the captioners at work again!

Sooz had a busy day today. She and M had Aqua and then Sooz went off to see The Book Thief at TBH. She enjoyed it - although she mentioned that a woman had left after a few minutes because she was upset. It has inspired me to read the book.

It was a busy stopover at Latimers on the way in to Trivia this evening. I had offered to do the furries to save M coming back out but had totally forgotten that it is Monday - rubbish day and recycling day! But I managed to fit it all in - thanks to adopting a trick from L - taking both the rubbish and recycling bins up on the same trip. And I managed to get a walk in with Pearl as well.

Trivia was fantastic and not just because we won. St was in great form - firing on all cylinders really - not bad for an inveterate bike rider. The rest of us were going great guns as well although it would have been a better result - scorewise - if we had listened to each other a little more. The Baffler was a year again and we didn't manage to guess it - but at least one team did though - on the second clue ... Japan joined the United Nations. And the answer was... 1956.

We had no French assistants, teachers or students (save for Ni) at Trivia tonight.

Sooz's seedlings are coming along very nicely... and Mum sent some Marigolds home with us for Sooz to use as companion plants (and natural pest control).
