Waffles! We was kind enough to cook us Waffles for breakfast - and they were wonderful - topped with strawberries, blueberries, and a splash of Maple (-flavoured) syrup! The only thing missing (not really) was a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Gardening

M had good news from The Markets … the bread people are back. They have been on holidays in Sri Lanka and while they may have needed the break .. they have definitely been missed! It was strange not going to the Markets this morning though - it's a nice thing to do and a good opportunity to catch up with folk. We were doing catching up this morning though with my aunt and her family. It is the first time we have seen them since J passed away last month.

We saw the children today - they are as lovely as ever and Ka is now copying everything his big sister does. No has developed an interest in gardening - she's been copying Mum - and she shows off her garden plot by making you close your eyes and then she leads you through the back yard to where it is - and you have to trust her because if you open your eyes - she catches you!
