Br has not yet returned to site but word is that she'll be back on Monday. And it looks like Kas who was with us today from HO will also be back on Monday - so we should be able to make a big dent in the outstanding paperwork. Hopefully SB Lu will also be down, first thing Monday morning, to help explain some processes so we can use “best practice” with our paperwork deluge.

We did get on top of most of it today … in that we now know what stage everything is at … and that means we can now make a plan. It's good to have a plan.

There was good news during the afternoon - Mouse had made stew - and we were invited to dinner. Yes! According to Mouse, there may be one more meal at her place, as she has now started cooking down her kitchen stocks in preparation for their departure.

M took Tinka to the vet this afternoon - in case it was she who had had the “accident” on the carpet. Blood was taken but the results won't be known until morning. In the meantime, Tinka's insulin dose has been increased.

We watched some television as we ate dinner - House & Garden - and then we moved on to House Rules (another of those home renovation shows) … because none of us remembered (or mentioned) that Semi-Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest was on! I don't believe we missed it - given that we knew it was about to be on, and we didn't want to miss Jessica Mauboy's performance … which turns out to be tomorrow night … so it's all good.

M may be one step closer to choosing a camera - it seems to be narrowing … but at this stage she could come home with anything!
