The day is finally here ... the packing is done, the arrangements are all made, and the instructions written out and recapped. Time for Mouse and M to set off for Turkey and the Mediterranean!
The not-Markets |
Mi had transferred the Markets experience to the Airport; she'd stopped at the Markets on the way to pick up Olga - she was taking her to the airport while we took M - getting last minute instructions as we drove. M seemed to be exhausted - not difficult to imagine given the number of late nights and busy days she's been having in the lead-up to the trip. Still, hopefully, she'll be able to sleep on the plane.
After seeing them off through the departure gates, Sooz and I set off back down the coast ... we called in at Harvey Norman's - I needed a replacement stylus - and then on to The Big House for a salmon and prawn lunch for Sooz and something else for me. Then it was quite late and time to go home to be with the kids (that wouldbe the furries). Theywere a bit unsettled tonight but that didn't stop Tinka from being Tinka when it was time to put her eardrops in. She flattened her ears against her head and was determined not to co-operate. However, she hadn't counted on me being as determined as she. All I can say is that I'm really glad we don't have to give her the tablets she was on last week. I don't think she would take them regardless of what subterfuge we tried.
