We were a small crew at Trivia tonight. Fl rang at the last moment to let us know that he wouldn't be able to make it - something to do with the family coming around this evening for a farewell for Lu who sets off back to the US tomorrow. We could have done with him there tonight - not that we did too badly but we might have done better than a 3 (out of 10) for our worst round ... and that may have seen us on the podium ... but we do know that these things are a little hit and miss depending on the questions, the choices of bonus rounds ... such is Trivia. We did have fun though.
The rest of the day was ... well, a Monday. It wasn't too bad considering it is End of Month though.
The Plovers are still around and they still have the three chicks despite the number of predators that would like to change that. The parents are good with the chicks letting them explore their surroundings, probably letting them go further afield than some folk would. It just seems that sometimes they don't realise the world can be a dangerous place for plover chicks.
