Well, it's finally here .. Settlement Day ... but it did take a while until the call came through that the deal had been done ... and dusted. Not that it took long after the actual settlement time ... it was just waiting for 2:30 to roll around.

Other big news of the day .. Mi and Az have returned and M went up to the airport to collect them and bring them home. I thought they might have gone via Mouse's to pick up Prince as well ... but it appears that he will have at least another day's holiday until his parents collect him.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the Gold Coast (and thanks M for collecting Sooz and taking her to Maccas so I could collect her there) Sooz and I were off to the real estate agents to pick up the keys for Jannie. Of course, we didn't ask "which" so we ended up at Maggie's office rather than their other branch which is actually where the keys were. Luckily the right branch wasn't far away and within 10 minutes we had swung by, picked up the keys and were on the way to visit Jannie by ourself for the very first time.

It still seems small compared to the memories of our first visit ... but it is plenty big enough.

We met M at the Big House afterwards for Dinner at Zen (thanks for the food and beverage voucher swipings M.) and while Sooz had a flutter on her favourite poker machine M and I went upstairs for a quick game of Numbers.. It was not the night for winning fortunes but it was fun.

When we arrived home, we found Flowers and presents from M to congratulate us on the settlement.
