I went shooting with Sy while An and Sooz were "pistol widows" and had breakfast and Bingo together - joined by Mouse and M. Their game was very exciting ... Sooz was one number off a major jackpot for quite a number of calls but it was not meant to be this time. It's a shame though because if she had won at least someone at their table would have. They are now talking about a game scheduled for later in September with $37k worth of prizes - with a buy-in of $200. It will be interesting to see if they book in for it because they are thinking that just going along on the day isn't going to guarantee them a spot.
Syl did much better at shooting today than I and she's going to be getting in more practice because she is thinking about going off to NRA competition tomorrow. Me? Well, it is time for me to be packing and sorting and I have some boxes from OfficeWorks which should do nicely for some of the things I want to sort in the office area. I'll need to get some more of them at some point too.
It was a quiet afternoon other than that - just enjoying the furries who spent most of their time being them ... and they are very good at doing that ... and being cute to boot.
